The Caribbean Network of Fisherfolk Organizations

 The Caribbean Network of Fisherfolk Organizations (CNFO) comprises National Fisherfolk Organizations (NFOs) from the following CARICOM Member States: Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, the Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, St.Lucia, St.Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago 

The Caribbean Regional Fisheries Mechanism

 The Caribbean Regional Fisheries Mechanism (CRFM) was officially inaugurated on 27 March 2003, in Belize City, Belize, where it is headquartered, following the signing of the Agreement Establishing the CRFM 

on February 4, 2002. 

Fisheries Division

Their mission is to ensure the optimum utilisation of the fisheries resources in the waters of Barbados for the benefit of the people of Barbados through management and development 

The Gulf and Caribbean Fisheries Institute

 The Gulf and Caribbean Fisheries Institute (GCFI) was founded in 1947 to promote the exchange of current information on the use and management of marine resources in the Gulf and Caribbean region.  

Caribbean Fisheries Training and Development Institute

 The Caribbean Fisheries Training and Development Institute (CFTDI) is a leading provider of training and development in both seamanship and fisheries technologies for the Caribbean. 

Centre for Resource Management and Environmental Studies

 CERMES is located on the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies in Barbados. The building is on the southeast corner of campus near the Free Hill entrance on the cliff edge overlooking Bridgetown. .
