The Caribbean Network of Fisherfolk Organizations (CNFO) comprises National Fisherfolk Organizations (NFOs) from the following CARICOM Member States: Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, the Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, St.Lucia, St.Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago
The Caribbean Regional Fisheries Mechanism (CRFM) was officially inaugurated on 27 March 2003, in Belize City, Belize, where it is headquartered, following the signing of the “Agreement Establishing the CRFM”
on February 4, 2002.
CERMES is located on the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies in Barbados. The building is on the southeast corner of campus near the Free Hill entrance on the cliff edge overlooking Bridgetown. .
