The 2025 Barbados Fisherfolk Festival kicks off on Sunday, June 1, and runs throughout the month, culminating with Fisherfolk Day on June 29. Organized by the Barbados National Union of Fisherfolk Organisations (BARNUFO) in collaboration with the Fisheries Division, this festival celebrates the vital role of fisherfolk in our island's culture, economy, and sustainable development.
